BEE GARDEN

Here's the progress we made on our bee garden last weekend.  I recycled and repurposed all the planters within the bee garden.  I think the bees love it - they are buzzing around checking things out...

Right now we have petunias, assylum, snap dragons and marigolds planted.  In the big wash basin is Sweet Mint.  I will be adding a few more larger flowers this upcoming weekend.

Bees are eating a lot of sugar syrup...we had quite a bit of burr comb to get rid of last weekend...and the bees did not like that at all.  But we did it as quickly as possible and got them closed back up again.  I couldn't believe how much comb they have made already - they are working extremely hard!
